This menstrual cup is approved by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. It is semi-permanent, environmentally friendly with no waste, and of course, safe for your body.

It's very simple to use, but it may take some practice at first. Put it in the right direction (the vagina is diagonally facing the back to the uterus from the vulva to the uterus), and put it in tightly wrapping the uterus.
If you are not used to inserting something into your vagina, you may feel uncomfortable at first, but after a few practice sessions, you will be able to use it easily.

It is a soft silicone with material and medical level. First of all, press the cup with your index finger and thumb to flatten it. Press the cup flat with your finger and then fold it in half so that it looks like a "U" when you look at it from above.
This way, you can enter the vagina smoothly. Use a water-soluble lotion if your vagina is dry, as it is difficult to penetrate when it is dry.
The amount of transfusion depends on the person, but basically, even those who look "a lot" won't leak out of their cup.
We recommend two to three changes to keep it clean, but it can be used for up to 12 hours.
It's really helpful when you can't go to the bathroom for long periods of time. This product is also safe for those who are prone to rashes caused by chemically treated sanitary products.

Also, the biggest challenge is the "removal". When the menstrual cup is snug against the uterine mouth, the air pressure makes it harder to come off easily.
First, trace the silicone thong to find the bottom of the cup. Lightly pinch the bottom to push air out and create a gap between the cup and the vagina that is tightly adhered to like a seal.
Put your finger between the cup and your vagina, hold the bottom of the cup and slowly remove it.
Sometimes it won't come off! When this happens, don't panic, take a breath, relax your vagina, and slowly follow the curve of the vagina.
If the cup is in a position where you can't touch it with your fingers, or if you can't get it out with your hands, sit on the toilet and strain your lower abdomen as if you were having a bowel movement.
You can feel the cup coming down with the movement of the muscles. Remove the cup with your finger at that time.
*The silicone thong is a guide to find the bottom of the cup, not a part to "pull" when you take it out. Hold the bottom of the cup to remove it.

The manufacturer recommends 2~3 times a day, but honestly, I don't think it's practical to take it out, wash it, and put it in again when you go out.
I put it in when I went out in the morning and took it off when I got home at night, but it was no problem for hygiene or the second day's amount.
Issues such as how to remove and wash them while on the go are also topics we would like to consider. I'd love to hear your thoughts as well.

All varieties come with an original pouch for the Sckoon cup. The design is unfortunately not selectable.

☆How to choose a size☆
The product package description says L size for those who have had a baby, but we recommend S size for those who are new to menstrual cups.
If you have had a baby or are not new to menstrual cups, choose the L size.


*Cautions for use
[Before Use]
If you are using an intrauterine device (IUD), talk to your doctor about the use of this product.
If you have a strange odor in your secretions, consult a doctor about using this product.

[In use]
Remove and rinse this product every 12 hours at most, regardless of blood volume. Empty the container at least two to three times a day and clean it thoroughly.
Remove this product before intercourse.
This product is not a contraceptive and does not prevent STD (sexually transmitted diseases) or pregnancy.
If there is any pain or itching in the vagina or vulva, or if there is any discomfort when urinating, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
There have been no cases of Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) caused by this product, but there is a possibility that it may occur depending on your physical condition and constitution. If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop using the cup immediately, remove it, and take this attached document to see a specialist, such as an obstetrician or gynecologist.
